Elliot Gong is a producer and director based in New York City. With experience producing and supervising over a dozen short films, documentaries, commercials, and music videos, he has a fierce passion for developing and promoting independent, creative contents with unique cultural consciousness. The films he produced have been featured by Senses of Cinema, a prestigious online film magazine, and have been selected by Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Flicker’s Rhode Island International Film Festival, and LA Shorts International Film Festival. In 2020, he was also awarded the Akhtar-Bhutta Fund for Student Producers.

As a director, Elliot is committed to telling stories that transcend the limitation of time and space and exploring the relationship between individuals and the ever-changing society. With aesthetics strongly influenced by contemporary art, his works has been selected by various international film festivals and was screened at many art house cinemas and art galleries around the world.

Elliot is currently pursuing his B.F.A. at NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a double major in Film & TV Production and East Asian Studies as well as a minor in Business, Entertainment, Media and Technology (BEMT).
